Arts Grants Program

The Stockton Arts Commission has awarded more than $300,000 to support, stimulate, and strengthen the arts in Stockton. The Stockton Arts Commission awards grants to help arts organizations, artists, and art educators serve a diverse community.  


2018 Arts Grants Program

The City of Stockton Arts Commission has a total of $50,000 available in arts grants for 2018.  All applicants must attend one of three mandatory workshops held at the Oak Park Senior Center, 730 E. Fulton Street

  • Final workshop:  Tuesday, October 17, 2017: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Application information and guidelines for the grants will be discussed at the mandatory workshops. 

 Only those that meet the following may apply:

  • Non-profit organizations that maintain a business office or primary venue in Stockton;
  • Artists, including student artists, who maintain a primary residence in Stockton; or
  • Art Educators who teach in a school, college, or university in Stockton. (Not necessarily reside in Stockton.)
