Medical Cannabis

A Medical Cannabis Dispensary Ordinance was approved by the City of Stockton City Council on Tuesday, August 24, 2010. The ordinance allows three medical cannabis dispensaries within the City of Stockton. Medical Cannabis Dispensaries will be permitted under strict guidelines and regulations, including, but not limited to distances from other sensitive uses and specific zoning requirements.

Selection Committee Meeting

A Selection Committee was appointed by the City Council to review Medical Cannabis Dispensary applications.  The Selection Committee approved three medical cannabis dispensary applications on March 14, 2011 Agenda 

 

Public Hearing

Planning Commission has approved two of the three Use Permit applications submitted by the top-ranked prospective medical cannabis dispensary operators on May 26, 2011.  Planning Commission continued the public hearing of the request of Val San Associates for the Use Permit located at 1220 West Fremont Street (P11-089).  The Use Permit is set for Public Hearing on Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 6:00 PM, Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 425 N El Dorado Street.

  1. Use Permit (P11-078) 678 N Wilson Way, Suite A-1  Approved
  2. Use Permit (P11-080) 1550 West Fremont Street     Approved
  3. Use Permit (P11-089) 1220 West Fremont Street     Pending
